1. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to wescalit.com and to information you send us directly,
for example by email. WeScalit provides recruitment, lead generation,
appointment setting and sales support services to business clients.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
If you email us, we receive whatever you choose to include — typically your
name, your email address, your company, and the details of your enquiry. We
only receive this because you chose to send it.
Information collected automatically
This website does not use a contact form, and it does not set advertising or
tracking cookies. Like almost all websites, the server that hosts this site may
keep standard technical logs, which can include IP address, browser type and
the pages requested. These logs are generated by the hosting provider for
security and reliability purposes.
Information we handle for clients
When delivering services, we handle business contact information and candidate
information on behalf of our clients. In that context the client determines how
the information is used, and we act on their instructions under the terms of
our agreement with them.
3. How we use information
- To respond to your enquiry and correspond with you about it.
- To provide, manage and improve the services a client has engaged us for.
- To keep records of business communications.
- To meet legal, tax and regulatory obligations.
- To protect the security and integrity of our systems.
4. Legal basis and your choices
We process enquiry information because it is necessary to respond to a request
you made, and to pursue our legitimate interest in operating and marketing a
business-to-business service. You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time
and we will do so.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of the
personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete
it, or object to how we use it. To make a request, email us at
sam@wescalit.com. We may need to verify your identity before
acting on a request.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties
for their own marketing purposes.
5. Text messaging and phone contact
Where you provide a phone number and agree to receive text messages from us in
connection with a service, the following applies:
- We send messages only to people who have given consent, and only about the
service in question.
- Message frequency varies.
- Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
- You can stop messages at any time by replying STOP. You will
receive one confirmation and no further messages.
- Reply HELP for assistance, or email
sam@wescalit.com.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Consent to receive messages is never a condition of purchasing anything from
us.
Mobile numbers and messaging consent are treated as confidential. We do not sell
them, and we do not share them with third parties or affiliates for their own
marketing or promotional purposes. Where a third party processes messages on our
behalf, they may only use the information to deliver the service.
6. Service providers
We rely on third parties for ordinary business functions such as website
hosting, email and productivity software. These providers may process
information on our behalf in order to supply their service to us, and are not
permitted to use it for their own purposes.
7. Data security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the
sensitivity of the information we hold, including access controls and encrypted
connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we
cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Data retention
We keep information for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected —
to answer your enquiry, to deliver a service, or to meet a legal or accounting
obligation — and then delete it or stop associating it with you.
9. Children
This is a business service. It is not directed at children, and we do not
knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
10. International visitors
WeScalit serves business clients in the United States. If you contact us from
elsewhere, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United
States, where data protection law may differ from that of your own country.
11. Links to other sites
This site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their
content or their privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their policies.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The current
version is always the one published on this page.
